Lunch & Learn Programs

Only have a few minutes free to learn about green building? Come to one of the Green Building Alliance’s Lunch & Learn presentations.

In just an hour, for example, you can learn more about Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards and other basics of green building with our Green Building 101 sessions. Sessions are held at our offices on the South Side of Pittsburgh.

Specialized Training Programs

If you want to go deeper on a green building topic, attend one of the specialized seminars and workshops GBA offers throughout the year.

Our Technical Workshops, for example, offer an in-depth look at a topic like LEED standards for existing buildings. These sessions are designed for industry professionals and are tailored to their needs.

Workshop speakers are experts with real-world experience in green building. Many sessions are produced in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council and other partners.

Our bi-monthly Alliance Building Breakfasts bring together industry professionals to hear speakers on topics ranging from green roofs to managing construction waste.

Alliance Building Breakfasts are usually held in downtown Pittsburgh. Workshops are held throughout western Pennsylvania. Check the calendar for details of upcoming programs.
