GBA inspires the creation of healthy, high performing places for everyone by providing leadership that connects knowledge, transformative ideas, and collaborative action.

Pittsburgh 2030 District
Expanding on goals established by Architecture 2030, the primary purpose of this local effort will be to prove that investments in energy efficiency, water efficiency and occupant satisfaction result in cost savings. GBA will build a collaborative that develops and shares best practices, innovative products and techniques, and alternative financing options.

Green Schools Academy
GBA is committed to the vision that every child within a generation will attend a green school. The Academy will inform the community and leaders on the benefits of high-performing, healthy schools, while educating the k-12 community on the why, what, and how of creating green and healthy schools.

DASH: Database for Analyzing Sustainable and High Performance Buildings
GBA’s DASH program seeks to improve evidence-based decision-making in the high performance building marketplace. Its main goals are to develop a comprehensive national repository of triple bottom line building performance data and facilitate reporting and analysis based on that data.

Knowledge Network
This program will support organizational events and programming, as well as expand GBA's outreach and communication efforts and provide education and green building resources. The Network contains all of GBA's green building educational resources, project case studies, and the Green Building Products Directory.
